By collecting data in Mikrodev products as serial port or TCP over MODBUS protocol, data can be transferred to IEC 60870, DNP3 remote system with time tag. By means of that, all defined data can be monitored from the remote system without data loss. Data object, data set, and data report information is received by communicating the IEC 61850 protocol between the feeder protection relays and Mikrodev DCS products.

Energy analyzer, power protection relay energy data in renewable energy stations are read with Mikrodev RTU and DCS products over MODBUS, IEC 61850 communication protocols. With the IEC 60870-5-104 communication protocol, data is sent to energy distribution centers securely without data loss. Percentage or level change defined data in communication breaks are kept in Mikrodev DCS products memory. As soon as the communication arrives, all data is sent to the remote system with the time stamp.
The ability to monitor and analyze energy data without data loss increases energy efficiency and reduces energy costs. Furthermore, in case of communication disruptions, data is stored in memory and sent to the remote system along with time information when communication is restored, preventing data loss in historical reporting.
Oil & Gas Automation System
Oil & Gas Automation system is a technology that provides automatic monitoring and management of energy usage in the production, processing, storage, and distribution processes in the oil and gas industry. This technology tracks and manages energy usage in the production, processing, storage, and distribution processes of oil and natural gas through sensors, control devices, and software.
Within the scope of that, oil and gas automation systems are responsible for regulation and control to ensure that energy is provided to consumers in a sufficient, quality, continuous, economic, and environmentally friendly manner. If necessary, oil and gas automation systems can automatically intervene in devices to increase or decrease oil and natural gas production. Additionally, oil and gas automation systems also support the optimization of these resources and tracking of energy usage, just as done in renewable energy. Automation is designed simultaneously with the digitalization process in the oil and natural gas sector and innovative applications aimed at using natural gas with hydrogen, in the regulatory dimension.
Mikrodev products are used in gas and oil transmission, distribution and control. In the Emergency Shutdown System, in case of a malfunction in the system, the system can be bypassed to keep the facility operational. While this process is taking place, all the control and monitoring in the background can be done with ViewPLUS SCADA software over Mikrodev PLC/RTU products. In the RMS (reducing and metering system) system, Mikrodev products and solutions are used for gas transmission line ambient data (pressure, valve position, etc.), monitoring measurement data and system-wide failure tracking. Automatic Meter Reading Systems, known as AMR in the industry, are used to better manage energy consumption during the billing process for services such as electricity, gas, or water provided to a consumer. The Automatic Meter Reading System simplifies the meter reading process for consumers and ensures reliable billing. The system automatically reads the meter at periodic intervals defined using various IoT converter products and generates accurate bills based on the consumer’s meter consumption values. AMR enables consumers to track their energy consumption accurately and reliably. The system also supports efficient use of energy resources by assisting consumers in managing their energy consumption more efficiently and economically.
Mikrodev DCS, PLC and IoT protocol gateway product family which offers solutions compatible with Automatic Meter Reading Systems, are used for instant, daily, monthly and annual monitoring of energy values, consumption rate calculations and billing process. Thanks to Mikrodev IoT protocol converters, IEC 62056-21 and DLMS/COSEM protocol in the electricity meter and M-BUS protocol in water meters, heat meters and natural gas meters are converted into MODBUS protocol. The converted data is sent to remote systems via integrated communication ports such as Ethernet, GSM or Wi-Fi.
