RTU300 Series RTU (Remote Terminal Unit)
RTU300 is a compact RTU solution offering price/performance advantages with model options selectable based on IEC60870, DNP3, MODBUS, MQTT, and IEC61850 protocols. The built-in GSM modem eliminates the need for an external router for SCADA connectivity. Its PLC-like programmable architecture provides flexible control and communication features in the field. With its extensive built-in I/O structure, an optimal configuration can be achieved for SCADA applications, and the system can be expanded up to 512 physical signals using XIO211 expansion modules.

Mikrodev RTU 300 Series
consists of industrial control and communication products designed to communicate with
and control smart electrical devices used in the electricity sector. These RTUs can be
programmed using the Function Block Diagram (FBD) language defined in the IEC 61131-3
standard and communicate with SCADA or control center software via IEC 60870, DNP3, and
MODBUS TCP protocols.
Mikrodev offers domestically manufactured RTU devices in multiple models with different
technical capabilities. The RTU301 model supports MODBUS, MQTT, IEC 62056-21, DLMS/COSEM,
and IEC 60870-5-104 protocols, while the RTU340 model additionally supports the IEC 61850
protocol. These RTU products are used across building automation, energy systems, water and
wastewater management, process automation, machine automation, transportation systems, IoT
and telemetry applications, lighting systems, and agricultural irrigation systems.

Core Capabilities
RTU 300 Series devices provide precise timing with NTP time synchronization and reliable
communication via integrated GSM 4G LTE support. Memory card data recording enables secure
storage of critical data, and multiple connection options are available for flexible
integration.
The series offers high scalability with expansion capability up to 1024 points, supporting
diverse industrial automation scenarios.
Programming and Remote Management
RTU 300 Series supports IEC 61131-3 programming with FBD (Function Block Diagram) and
LD (Ladder) languages. Configuration and programming can be performed via B-type USB and
Ethernet connections. The Telediagram programming editor supports IEC 61850, IEC 60870,
DNP3, MQTT, and MODBUS protocols.
Online monitoring enables real-time visibility and intervention on process data. Remote
programming, project upload/download, and firmware updates can be executed over TCP/IP.
Additional control features include PID and ON/OFF control function libraries.
Protocols, Durability, and I/O
RTU 300 Series supports MODBUS TCP Master/Slave, MODBUS RTU Master/Slave, MODBUS Gateway,
MQTT, DNP3, IEC 61850, and IEC 60870-5-101/103/104 protocols. Devices are designed for
harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +75°C and storage
temperature range of -30°C to +80°C.
Data recording capabilities include programmable trigger blocks, time-tagged event logging,
and high event storage capacity. Communication interfaces include Ethernet and serial ports.
Optional features include modular GSM support, SD card support, real-time clock, and calendar
functionality.
