Mikrodev MP211 Series PLC products and ViewPLUS SCADA software were used in the Shelter Control System and Command Center Automation project carried out for AFAD Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
Within the Shelter Control System, alarm monitoring, energy monitoring, HVAC system controls, and decontamination controls are managed through ViewPLUS SCADA software. The system provides centralized monitoring and control of critical shelter infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of all essential systems inside the shelter.
The Shelter Control System includes more than 20 stations and over 70 Mikrodev MP211 PLCs with expansion modules. More than 2000 data points are monitored and controlled via ViewPLUS SCADA.
Data monitoring of shelter cells, automation processes, system fault detection, and operational control are achieved through Mikrodev MP211 Series PLC products together with I/O extension modules. Instantaneous data transfer between field devices and ViewPLUS SCADA is provided over the MODBUS protocol.
With the Shelter Control System, the following systems are monitored and controlled:
- A/C station control including AHU, Chiller, Boiler, EF Fans, and Damper Engines
- Automatic door control in the shelter
- Drainage system control
- Fuel system control
- Power system monitoring
- Alarm monitoring and failure detection
- Energy monitoring
- HVAC system automation
- Decontamination control
The AFAD Shelter Control System provides integrated automation, real-time monitoring, and centralized control for shelter and command center operations. Using Mikrodev MP211 Series PLCs and ViewPLUS SCADA, the system ensures efficient, safe, and reliable management of all critical shelter infrastructure.
